Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR RELATED DTCS WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury. Refer to Electrical/Battery System - Warning
- With the scan tool, read Hybrid Gateway Module (HGM) DTCs.
Are there any HGM, HCP, or FDCM DTCs also present?
Yes
- Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Hybrid Gateway (HGM) - Diagnosis and Testing and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.
No
- Go to step 2
- With the scan tool, read Hybrid Gateway Module (HGM) DTCs.
- CHECK FOR RELATED TCM DTCS
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Are any other modules reporting a Lost Communication with TCM DTC?
Yes
- Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Hybrid Gateway (HGM) - Diagnosis and Testing and perform the diagnostic procedure for Lost Communication with TCM.
