MODULE, Occupant Restraint Controller: Removal: Removal

1. Open deck lid.
2. Remove four bolts to battery compartment cover and remove cover.
3. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
   WARNING: Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag components. Failure to do this may result in serious or fatal injury.
4. Remove center console. Refer to Body/Interior/CONSOLE, Center - Removal .
5. Remove the center bezel. Refer to Body/Instrument Panel/BEZEL, Instrument Panel - Removal .
6. Using a trim stick or equivalent, gently pry out on cluster bezel. Refer to Body/Instrument Panel/BEZEL, Instrument Cluster - Removal .
7. Remove radio and electrical connections. Refer to Electrical/Audio and Video/RADIO - Removal .
8. Remove two electrical connectors (3) to Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) (1).
9. From inside center stack area, remove three retaining screws(2) to ORC (1) and remove from floor tunnel.
