1 - M8 FASTENERS (APPLY THREAD SEALANT)

2 - M10 FASTENERS

3 - M6 FASTENERS

4 - M10 FASTENERS (STUD/NUT)

The water pump on all models can be replaced without discharging the air conditioning system.

Drain cooling system. See Cooling - Standard Procedure .
Remove accessory drive belts. See Cooling/Accessory Drive/BELT, Serpentine - Removal .
Remove engine timing belt. Refer to Engine/Valve Timing/BELT and SPROCKETS, Timing - Removal .
Remove water pump mounting bolts (3). Note position of longer bolts for proper re-installation.
Remove water pump body from engine.
