Pump, Water: Removal: 2.8L

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Drain cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove timing belt inner and outer covers. Refer to and COVER(S), ENGINE TIMING, REMOVAL .

Remove water pump retaining bolts (1) and the water pump (2).
