Module, Keyless Ignition Node: Removal: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL .
- Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, disengage the snap clips that secure the molded hard plastic outer edges of the steering column gap hider bezel (1) to the instrument panel.
- Position the telematic steering column outward and slide the gap hider forward.
- Reach in through the opening and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) module.
- There is a tab (1) on each side of the KIN. To remove the KIN, release each tab securing the KIN to the bezel.
