Radiator, Engine Cooling: Removal: Gas

  1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  3. Remove coolant recovery container (3) (Refer to BOTTLE, PRESSURIZED COOLANT, REMOVAL  ).

  4. Remove the front bumper center grill (2).

  5. Remove the center grill support frame (1).
  6. If equipped, remove the power steering cooler.

  7. Remove the upper radiator cross member support (2). Refer to CROSSMEMBER, RADIATOR, INSTALLATION .

  8. Remove the air shutter (1).

  9. Remove the radiator cooling fan. Refer to FAN, COOLING, REMOVAL .
  10. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses from the radiator.
  11. Separate the condenser from the radiator.

  12. Remove the radiator mounts (1).
  13. Lift radiator out of vehicle.
