Fan, Cooling: Removal: Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  3. Detach the overflow hose (1) from cooling fan shroud (2).

  4. Remove the upper radiator hose (3).

  5. Disconnect the cooling fan wiring harness connector (1).

  6. Remove the radiator fan (3) by pressing the retaining clips (2) in and lifting upwards to release from mounts.
