Sensor, EGR Temperature: Installation

1. Clean EGR crossover tube at sensor mounting point.
2. Check condition of the sensors metal gasket and replace if necessary.
3. Install EGR temperature sensor (1) to EGR tube (6). Tighten to 18 N.m (13 ft. lbs.).
4. Connect EGR temperature sensor (1) harness connector (2).

5. Install the engine cover (3). Tighten bolts (1) to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
6. Install the engine oil dipstick (2).
7. Connect both negative battery cables.
