Fan, Cooling: Removal: 3.6L

  1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the coolant return hose (1).
  4. Remove the bolts (6) and position aside the pressurized coolant bottle (3)

  5. Remove the front bumper fascia (1). Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .

  6. Remove the upper close out panel (2) and position aside.

  7. Remove upper radiator hose (3) and position aside.

  8. Disconnect the cooling fan relays wire harness connector from the (1), the resistors (2) and the cooling fan motors (3).

  9. Separate the wire harness (1) from the cooling fan shroud.

  10. Remove the radiator fan (3) by pressing the retaining clips (2) in and lifting upwards to release from the mounts.
