Sensor, Speed, Transfer Shaft: Description

The transfer shaft speed sensor (3) is a two-wire magnetic pickup device that generates AC signals as rotation occurs.

The transfer shaft speed sensor (1) is bolted to the transaxle case and uses a O-ring (2) to seal it to the transaxle case.
