Pipe, Exhaust CROSSUNDER: Installation

1. If removed, install the cross under pipe support bracket. Tighten to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.).
2. Position the cross-under pipe (1) into its position between the catalytic converters.
3. Center the cross-under to the bracket. tighten the bolts (2) to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).

4. Position new gasket (3) onto the catalytic converter flange (4).
5. Install the front flange mounting nuts (4). Tighten nuts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).

6. Position new gasket (1) onto the catalytic converter flange (4).
7. Install the rear flange nuts (3). Tighten to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the cross-under support bolts. Tighten nuts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).

9. Install the down pipe (1) onto the cross-under pipe. Tighten the nuts (3) to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.).
10. Install the down pipe isolator (2).
11. Check for clearance of the exhaust to body.
12. Lower the vehicle.
13. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
14. Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments.
