Knob, Gearshift: Installation

1. Install the knob (1) to the shift mechanism shaft. The shaft has a flat locating feature to aid in installation.
2. Install the shifter knob retention clip (2) by pushing it in firmly until seated.
3. Pull up on the shifter boot (3) until it snaps on to the base of the shifter knob (1).
