Cables, Battery: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch to the Off position. Be certain that all electrical accessories are turned off.
- Remove the battery access cover.
- Release the negative battery clamp (1) from the battery post.
- If required, remove the nut (3) that secures the cable to the battery clamp (1).
- Remove the bolt (2) that secures the cable to the body.
- Remove the battery cable from the vehicle.
