Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

  1. Position the flexplate (3) onto the crankshaft.
  2. Install the spacer (2) and the NEW  bolts (1) hand tight.
  3. Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts (1) to the proper in a criss-cross pattern. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
    CAUTION:

    Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.

  4. Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
