Apply MOPAR® thread sealant with PFTE to the sensor threads.
Install the coolant temperature sensor (2) into the water pump housing.
Tighten the coolant temperature sensor to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Connect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector (3).
Install the air intake system. Refer to 5.7L, BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION or 6.4L, BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
