Charging (Service Information): Generator: Installation
- Position the generator (2) to the engine and loosely hand start the upper and lower fasteners (1).
Tighten the fasteners in the following order, front lower, front upper, rear upper to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the B(+) cable (3) and nut (2). Tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the generator field connector (1).
- Install the serpentine belt (1). Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Install the lower belly pan.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
