Motor, Window Regulator: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the door interior trim panel (2). Refer to PANEL, FRONT DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL or Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .

3. Disconnect the power window motor wiring harness connector from the motor electrical connector receptacle (3).
4. Remove the fasteners (4) securing the power window motor and gear assembly (2) to the carrier plate (1) and remove the motor and gear assembly.
