Heater, Engine Block: Removal

NOTE:

The engine block heater is located on the driver side towards the front of the engine.

Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL .

Partially drain the coolant from the radiator and cylinder block. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Disconnect the power cord from the engine block heater.
Remove the engine block heater bolt (2) and the block heater assembly (1).
