Stabilizer Bar, Front: Installation

NOTE:

Ensure that the stabilizer link nuts are equipped with an encapsulated washer nut assembly upon installation. 

  1. Position the stabilizer bar (8) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the stabilizer bushing clamps and tighten the two bolts on each side to proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Position the stabilizer link (6) to the stabilizer bar (5), install a NEW  stabilizer bar link lower nut (4) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  4. Install the front skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSFER CASE, INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
