Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
- Turn ignition on, engine off. Do not unplug the TPS wire harness connector. Insert DVOM leads through the back of the wire harness connector.
- TPS connector is marked "A", "B" and "C". Insert negative lead of voltmeter in terminal "B" and positive lead to terminal "C", reading should be 5 volts.
- Insert voltmeter positive lead to terminal "A", reading should be 4 volt. To adjust, loosen TPS retaining screws and pivot sensor to obtain correct reading.
