Purge Control Valve
- Mark vacuum lines for reassembly. Remove purge control valve. Connect a hand vacuum pump to valve vacuum nipple (single nipple at bottom of control valve). Apply 15.3 Hg. Vacuum should hold.
- Release vacuum. With no vacuum applied, lightly blow air through canister side nipple. Air should not pass through. Apply 7.8 Hg. Air should now pass through valve.
- Connect a hand vacuum pump to control pressure nipple (if equipped) at side of control valve. Apply 15.3 Hg. Vacuum should hold.
