Description & Operation

The power seats can be adjusted in 6 directions: up, down, forward, backward, forward tilt or rearward tilt. The control switches are located on the outboard side of the front seats. The front lever raises or lowers (tilts) the front of the seat. The middle lever raises or lowers the complete seat. The middle lever also moves the complete seat forward or rearward. The rear lever raises or lowers (tilts) the back of the seat. The movement of the seat is accomplished by 3 permanent magnet reversible motors, drive cables and transmission assemblies. Each motor contains a self-resetting circuit breaker for overload protection. The power seat circuit is protected by a 30-amp circuit breaker, located under the dash, to left of the steering column.
