Pinion Preload: Precis
Center rack, and attach end plug (rack support cover) to rack housing. Tighten end plug to 96 INCH lbs. (11 N.m) using torque wrench and appropriate adapter. Loosen end plug 30-60 degrees, and tighten locking nut to 36-51 ft. lbs. (49-69 N.m).
