Tachometer Test: 2.0L

Insert paper clip into tachometer connector. See Fig 2 . Connect tachometer to paper clip. When checking RPM, calculate actual engine RPM as twice the amount tachometer shows. Replace tachometer if difference is excessive. See TACHOMETER SPECIFICATIONS  .
