Steering Lock: Removal
- Remove the steering wheel and the horn pad. Refer to STEERING WHEEL & HORN PAD R & I under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in this article. If necessary, remove air duct and covers from steering column.
- Using hacksaw, cut steering lock-to-steering lock bracket bolts at bracket side and remove bolts. Disconnect electrical connection and remove steering lock.
