Hazard Warning Switch Test

NOTE: For hazard/turn signal circuit testing, see STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT Section.

Remove hazard switch. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TRIM PANEL SWITCHES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Use ohmmeter to check switch circuit continuity. See Figure . If continuity between related terminals is not as specified when switch is in proper position, replace switch.
