Purge Control Valve (2.0L Turbo)
- Remove purge control valve. Lightly blow air into purge control valve fitting "D". See Fig 1. Ensure air does not blow through to fitting "C".
- Using a hand-held vacuum pump, apply 8 in. Hg vacuum to fitting "A". Lightly blow air into purge control valve fitting "D". Ensure air blows through to fitting "C".
- Apply 16 in. Hg vacuum, in turn, to fitting "A" and fitting "B". See Fig 1. Ensure vacuum holds both times. Replace purge control valve if it does not test as described.
