Heater Control Assembly
Heater control panel, located in a pod on right side of steering column, has a 4-speed blower switch. See Fig 1. Turning temperature control knob selects temperature level: clockwise for warmer and counterclockwise for cooler. An air selector knob selects either outside or recirculated air. A mode selector knob allows choice of 6 main flow directions:
- Face Symbol - Air flows to upper part of passenger compartment.
- Face/Foot Symbol - Airflow is high with a slight flow to legs.
- Foot/Face Symbol - Air flows to leg area with slight flow to windshield and upper passenger compartment.
- Foot Symbol - Airflow is to front and rear leg areas.
- Foot/Defroster Symbol - Airflow is to leg area and windshield and door windows.
- Defroster Symbol - Airflow is to windshield and door windows only.
