Voltage should no longer exist at terminals No. 4 and No. 5.
  3. Connect negative lead to terminal No. 6. Ensure continuity is NOT present at terminals No. 2 and 3. Connect positive lead to terminal No. 9 and negative lead to terminal No. 6. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 2 and No. 3.
  4. Connect positive lead to terminal No. 3. If voltage exists at terminal No. 2, repair short to ground. Connect positive lead to terminal No. 3 and negative lead to terminal No. 7. If battery voltage does not exist at terminal No. 2, replace control relay.
