As a quick diagnosis, the cluster will perform a function check immediately after the ignition is switched to the RUN/START position. All transmission range LEDs and warning lights, except cruise, will light for a brief period. If the cluster is not receiving CCD bus messages, the cluster will appear non-functional except for the continuously illuminated air bag indicator. When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle.
