WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Chrysler LeBaron. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with air bag restraint system, see AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT Section before servicing steering wheel or column. Use extreme caution to avoid personal injury and vehicle damage.

Remove wiper switch from instrument panel. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between indicated switch terminals. See WIPER SWITCH CONTINUITY  . See Fig 1 .

WIPER SWITCH CONTINUITY

Switch Position Continuity Between Terminals
OFF 8 (DK GRN/WHT) & 10 (BRN/WHT)
DELAY (1) 1 (BLK) & 9 (DK BLU)
LOW 9 (DK BLU) & 10 (BRN/WHT)
HIGH 9 (DK BLU) & 7 (RED/YEL)
(1) Resistance at maximum delay is 240,000-400,000 ohms. Resistance at minimum delay is 0-15 ohms with ohmmeter set on high-ohm scale.
