Idle Position Switch (2.0L)

  1. Idle position switch is located on throttle body. Disconnect idle position switch connector. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between switch terminal and ground.
  2. With accelerator pedal depressed, no continuity should exist. With accelerator pedal released, continuity should exist. Replace idle position switch if it does not test as specified.
