Ignition Lock Cylinder: Installation

Insert ignition key into new lock cylinder and turn to ACC position. Push lock cylinder into housing until lock pin clicks into position. Remove key, and install interlock cable slide lever into steering lock cylinder housing. See Figure.
Connect interlock cable to slide lever. Apply light coat of multipurpose grease to slide lever and cover. See Figure. Install cover to housing. Install harness/cable band strap from column. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
