Crankshaft Position Sensor: Installation

- If crankshaft position sensor is adjustable, go to next step. If crankshaft position sensor is not adjustable, install sensor in transaxle housing. Install sensor mounting bolt. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
- If old sensor is being reused, remove old paper spacer from sensor face. Install a NEW paper spacer to sensor face before installing sensor. If installing a new sensor, ensure paper spacer is attached to sensor face.
- Install sensor by pushing down until paper spacer makes contact with drive plate. Hold sensor in position and tighten sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect sensor wiring harness connector.
