Power Supply System

  1. Disconnect ABS-ECU connector. Start engine. Using a voltmeter, check for voltage between ground and ABS-ECU wiring harness connector terminal No. 18. See Figure . If reading is 10-17 volts, go to step 3). If reading is not 10-17 volts, go to next step.
  2. Inspect connectors between ignition switch and ABS-ECU. Clean or repair as necessary. Verify if DTC still exists. If DTC still exists, check Blue/Black wire between ignition switch and ABS-ECU. Repair as necessary. If DTC does not still exist, check battery or generator. Repair as necessary.
  3. Inspect ABS-ECU connector. Clean or repair as necessary. Verify if DTC still exists. If DTC still exists, replace ABS-ECU.
