Removal & Installation: Notes

WARNING: Vehicle is equipped with an air bag system. To prevent air bag deployment, disconnect negative battery cable and wait at least 2 minutes before servicing instrument cluster. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section.

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery.
