PCV Valve

  1. Disconnect ventilation hose from PCV valve. PCV valve is located at rear corner of valve cover. Remove PCV valve from valve cover.
  2. Hold PCV valve with valve cover end (threaded end) of valve facing upward. Insert small rod into valve cover end of PCV valve.
  3. Press small rod downward and release the small rod. The valve and spring inside the PCV valve should move and the spring should force the valve back to the closed position when small rod is released. If valve will not move or sticks, clean or replace PCV valve as necessary.
