Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

This sensor monitors both Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) and Manifold Air Pressure (MAP).

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the engine cover (1).

Remove the air cleaner body (6). Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL or BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL .

Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the IAT/MAP sensor.
Remove the bolt and the IAT/MAP sensor from the intake manifold.

The IAT/MAP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
