Charging (Service Information): Generator: Installation: 1.4L
- Turn the generator as needed to push past the A/C compressor and the A/C lines in order to position the generator to the generator support bracket.
- Install both lower generator retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.) (1).
- Install the lower A/C compressor bolts (1).
- Position the A/C line support and install (1).
- Install the right side axle half shaft bearing support.
- Install the right side axle half shaft. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Install the accessory drive belt.
- Tighten the top A/C compressor retaining bolt (1).
- Install the upper generator retaining bolt (1).
- Connect the negative battery cable.
