Injector(S), Fuel: Removal

WARNING:

The fuel system is under constant pressure even with engine off. Before servicing fuel injector(s), fuel system pressure must be released.

NOTE:

To remove one or more fuel injectors, the fuel rail assembly must be removed from engine.

Perform the fuel system pressure release procedure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
Remove the fuel rail assembly. Refer to RAIL, FUEL, REMOVAL .
Remove the fuel injector retaining clip(s) (2) from the fuel rail.
Remove the injector(s) (1) from the fuel rail assembly.
