Description And Operation: Operation
The current socket/cigar lighter is supplied by the "ignition-operated starting excluded" line protected by a fuse and controlled by relay switch in the PDC: it is an "ignition-operated starting excluded" (INT/A) power supply protected by a fuse located in the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by a maxi fuse located in the engine compartment junction unit.
The BCM on the other hand receives an ignition-operated power supply (INT) and the ignition-operating excluding starting (INT/A). This signal is used, amongst other things, to "wake up the network".
Supplementary Power Ports
The inverter receives a direct power supply via the line protected by a fuse in the luggage compartment junction unit.
The BCM supplies power to the inverter with the above mentioned logic.
