Exhaust Temperature Sensor 1/1: Installation

1. Position the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor module complete with EGT sensors and secure it to the mounting bracket using the nuts (2).

2. Install the upstream EGT sensor in the catalytic converter and tighten the connector (1) to the. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

3. Install the EGT sensor downstream of the catalytic converter and tighten the connector (1) to the. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

4. Connect the EGT sensor module wire harness connector (1).
5. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
