Identification & Specifications: Notes
Alternator is color-ink stamped with "FoMoCo", "Autolite", or "Motorcraft" trademarks. Color stamp is code for rated amperage and rated output. Rated amperage is also stamped on end frame (38A, 55A, etc.). Color code is as follows:
