Evaporative Emissions System: Description

The Fuel Evaporation control system prevents fuel vapors from entering the atmosphere. System consists of a sealed filler cap, fuel tank, vapor separator, carbon canister, a solenoid operated dual venting float bowl and connecting hoses and lines. California models are equipped with a purge control valve on the carbon canister.
