Carburetor - AISAN 2-Bbl: Description

Carburetor is a 2-barrel downdraft design with primary and secondary venturi. An automatic choke, containing a bi-metallic spring controlled by an electric heater and choke breaker diaphragm, provides proper air/fuel mixture during engine warm-up.

A stepper motor and valve are used to modify fuel flow in idle and primary main metering systems according to signals received from various sensors. The stepper motor operates an Air Bleed Control Valve (ABCV) which varies fuel mixture by controlling airflow in idle and primary main metering air bleed passages.

Secondary throttle valve is opened by secondary vacuum diaphragm. The secondary throttle valve begins to open when the primary throttle valve is open 47-53 degrees. The carburetor also contains accelerator pump, idle, power, float and main circuits.
