Horn Relay Circuit Test

NOTE: Electrical connectors must remain connected during horn relay testing.
  1. Measure voltage between Yellow/Light Blue wire and ground at relay. Voltage should be 12 volts. If voltage is not present, check fuses.
  2. If voltage is correct, depress horn button. Voltage should drop to zero and horn sound. If horn does not sound and voltage remains 12 volts, check voltage at Yellow/Light Green wire.
  3. If voltage is not 12 volts, replace horn relay. If voltage is present, connect Yellow/Light Green wire to ground. If horn sounds, replace horn pad.
  4. If horn does not sound, check voltage on Dark Blue wire at horn relay. If voltage is not present, replace relay. If voltage is present, check horn and circuit.
