Horn Relay Circuit Test
NOTE:
Electrical connectors must remain connected during horn relay testing.
- Measure voltage between Yellow/Light Blue wire and ground at relay. Voltage should be 12 volts. If voltage is not present, check fuses.
- If voltage is correct, depress horn button. Voltage should drop to zero and horn sound. If horn does not sound and voltage remains 12 volts, check voltage at Yellow/Light Green wire.
- If voltage is not 12 volts, replace horn relay. If voltage is present, connect Yellow/Light Green wire to ground. If horn sounds, replace horn pad.
- If horn does not sound, check voltage on Dark Blue wire at horn relay. If voltage is not present, replace relay. If voltage is present, check horn and circuit.
