ISSUE
The service interval indicator light on the vehicle maintenance monitor (VMM) comes on at about 7500 mile intervals. After the scheduled maintenance has been performed, the VMM must be reset to turn off the service interval indicator light.
ACTION
Reset the MM by using a small pointed instrument, such as a small screwdriver or a ball point pen. Insert the pointed instrument and depress the service interval cancel switch one time only. Refer to Fig 1 for the location of the service interval cancel switch.
