PRC System Self-Diagnostics: Description

Thoroughly inspect all PRC components and wiring visually before proceeding with tests. There will be 3 specific tests: KEY ON, ENGINE OFF TEST, CONTINUOUS MONITOR TEST and PINPOINT TEST. Follow specific order and instructions in each test before performing any repairs.

When directed to PINPOINT TESTS, look carefully at wiring diagram. Any time a repair is made, KEY ON, ENGINE OFF TEST should be repeated as a double check.
