Test 4, Check Pip Continuity To EEC

Turn key off. Disconnect the ECA. Check resistance between J43 (PIP E) and Pin No. 56 (PIP) of the ECA connector. See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms go to TEST 5. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, service open circuit. Reconnect the ECA and check ECA for fault codes. See TESTS W/CODES article.
