Port Fuel Injection (PFI)

The electronic fuel injection system is a pulse time system. The ECA controls fuel injectors to meter fuel quantity into intake ports. The ECA receives inputs from engine sensors to compute fuel flow necessary to maintain air/fuel mixture ratio throughout entire engine operational range.
